I was just a 19 year old with a pipe dream and ambition to help others like me

During the last semester of my film-school media arts program, I was given my final
assignment which was to produce a Public Service Announcement, have it
sponsored by a non-profit organization with the intention of broadcasting the
final segment to local TV stations.

Sure enough, I decided to base my topic around Suicide Prevention since it’s always
struck a deep chord within my life. I have personally gone through it and have
lost several close friends from this illness.

Although I look back at this accolade with repentance in mind, It’s something I’d like
to re-share to the public in hopes to inspire others who are currently going
through the same thing or know someone who is.
