THE MESSENGER

Raven, Oh Raven, Oh wont you fly in the night of day,

Guided by light, no matter what sky, no matter what grays,

Heavenly Angel of drift in pale sedations, the beauty, the gifts,

bare the skin, that turns linen and mends into pages.

Oh Raven, Oh Raven, Fly over my skull, Again once more,

with ashes in sparrows of glass canvas and clay, 

lie heaven on pine, and dine with a chalice of gems, 

tat no feather, turn claws into gold, Wine to the ages, To Spry at the table soirée, 

when the dust burrows under rain, dismay drought no clashes,

Send this spirit to wake, to seek, to thirst, to long for her lashes,

I give you this banter, a whistle, more laughter. 

let us rest, let us love, let us bathe in peace. 

Let us drink to the new dance, to the new song, to the new sing. 

After, thereafter.

Raven, my Raven, bone is brittle, my skull can warm you for long or for little.

Take what you need, and Thank you my bird, May you Fly forever, 

in myth, magic and might, the gifts I return in favor is sight, So Ply in play, And May oh May,
